More Sumo's

5 Rounds for time of:

15 Sumo Deadlift High Pulls (Men 95 lbs, Women 65 lbs)
15 Thrusters (Men 95 lbs, Women 65 lbs)

My time: 15:46 Rx

This was a pretty tough workout. 5 rounds is always daunting from a mental standpoint, and somewhere around the beginning of the 3rd round, I momentarily contemplated taking a DNF. Then, of course, my pride and sanity took over and I finished it in a pretty decent amount of time. ( I would have been humiliated if I'd quit during a 15 minute WOD.) I actually expected this WOD to take me 20+ minutes, so I was very pleased with my time. I also know I could get faster on it, so I'll look forward to trying next time.

    Nice split jerks!

    I like the SDHP and thruster WOD -- I need to try that. I totally hear you on the 5 round thing. And then where there are 7 or 10 rounds, I swear it's like your head's gonna explode. :-p
